Pamela Webster

October 20, 1953 — May 11, 2017

Pamela H. Webster, 63, of Gardners, PA passed away Thursday, May 11, 2017 while at the Meadows in Gettysburg after a brave fight against cancer. She was born October 20, 1953 in Altoona, PA to William J. Taylor of Altoona and the late Arlene J. (Muir) Taylor. Pamela married Jack A. Webster in February 1985 and he preceded her in death on October 26, 2008.

Pamela graduated from Altoona Area High School and Lancaster General School of Nursing. She retired from WellSpan Aspers Family Medicine as a registered nurse. She enjoyed her 42 years as an RN. Pamela passionately loved and rehabilitated many animals. She was an artist who loved reading, clogging, knitting and travel. She was a volunteer for the Upper Adams Jaycee's,  National Apple Harvest Festival and Oakside Community Park in Biglerville. Pamela was a supporter of the American Cancer Society Relay for Life and a member of the Country Bear Cloggers. Pamela was blessed by many faithful , dedicated and supportive friends.

In addition to her father, William and stepmother Joan she is survived by three step sons, Jeff, Stephen and Gregg Webster; sister, Tammy Jo Peros; stepsister, Karen Carles and stepbrother, Ron Galat all of Altoona. Also surviving are nephews, Matthew Taylor and wife Christie and Nicholas Taylor; nieces, Marissa and Emily Peros; a great niece, Johna Taylor and 13 step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Taylor; stepbrothers, Rick and Bill Galat; stepson, David Webster; and step granddaughter, Julie.

At her request there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to American Cancer Society, PO BOX 897, Hershey, PA 17033 or Adams County SPCA, 11 Goldenville Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
