Orie Fair

Orie A. Fair, 90, of Hunters Run (Gardners), PA, passed away Christmas Eve at his home. Born November 8, 1928 in Gardners, PA to the late Edgar & Lillian Starner Fair, he was the widower of Violet O. Fair who passed away January 7, 1997. Orie was a retired truck driver and was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. His memberships included: Mt. Holly Springs VFW Post 7343, South Mt. American Legion Post # 674, Carlisle Eagles Arie #1299 and the Carlisle Amvets Post 274.

He is survived by his daughter, Shirley A. (Daniel) Albright of Carlisle; grandchildren, William Lefevre, Amanda Lefevre and companion, Michael Sheaffer Sr., all of Gardners and Samuel Brown of Carlisle; and two great grandchildren, Hunter Albrecht and Michael Sheaffer Jr., both of Gardners. He was preceded in death by sons, John, Stanley, Barry and Steve Fair.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 28, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA with Rev. Richard Reese officiating. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the South Fairview Cemetery with honors provided by the Cumberland County Honor Guard.
