Nita F. (Dunbar) Cook, 85, of Carlisle, PA, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018 at the Transitions of Claremont. She was born on October 10, 1932 to the late Harry W. and Mina (Adams) Franz. She was the widow of Calvin B. Cook, who passed away August 31, 1996.
Nita was a retired Ostomy Nurse, LPN in the Carlisle area. She enjoyed reading in her spare time.
She is survived by her three daughters, Cindy M. Dunbar, Sally R. Dunbar and Becky D. Tuckey and husband, Michael, all of Carlisle; step-children, Vern Cook and wife, Sue, Kevin Cook and wife, Shari, both of Bendersville, Linda Eberly and husband, Michael of Raleigh, NC and Vickie Showers and husband, Freeman of Gardners; 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; and step-daughter-in-law, Carol Brandt. She is preceded in death by her step-son, Arthur Brandt and brother, Donald E. Folk.
