Nellie M. Weibley, 91, formerly of Boiling Springs passed away on Monday, October 12, 2015 in the Thornwald Home, Carlisle. She was born August 7, 1924 in South Middleton Twp. to the late Frank and Anna Melester Calaman and was the widow of Glenn D. Weibley who passed away November 3, 1990.
Nellie graduated from Boiling Springs High School, Class of 1942 and received a degree at Messiah College in food service. She retired from Thornwald Home as the dietary supervisor. Nellie was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church. She volunteered her services everywhere, always helping others.
She is survived by a son, Roger (Connie) Weibley and a daughter, Rosanne (Michael) Faller both of Carlisle; 2 sisters, Beulah Tenerorich of Pittsburgh and Erma Thomas of Boiling Springs; 2 brothers, Frank and Lee Calaman both of Carlisle; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Nellie was predeceased by a son, Edward Weibley who passed away on January 30, 2004.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 16, 2015 at 10:00 AM in Otterbein United Methodist Church, 647 Forge Road, Carlisle, PA 17015 with Rev. Daniel Dennis officiating. There will be a viewing Thursday, October 15, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065. Interment will be in the Mt.
