Nancy E. Seiler

Nancy E. Seiler, 75, of Carlisle, PA, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023.  She was born April 10, 1948, in Carlisle to the late Merle and Gladys (Heller) Ferree.

Nancy was a 1966 Carlisle High School Graduate. She was devoted to her family and was a homemaker and a stay-at-home mom during the years she was raising her children.  She babysat many children in her lifetime, most notably her grandchild, Jenna, and then her great-grandchild, Bentley.  She worked in volunteer and paid positions with the schools, serving as a room parent, helping to assist with cheerleading, and then formally as a teacher’s aide at Hamilton Elementary School for a number of years. She held a position in the Rite Aid warehouse and then worked for herself, getting paid to do what she loved which was to clean and tidy up – something anyone who had her over learned she would do regardless as she couldn’t stand to sit still.  Many nights she would put that excess energy into country line dancing with friends which was a favorite pastime.   

Surviving are her children, Kenneth Seiler of Mt. Holly Springs and Amy Pak of Carlisle along with son-in-law Gil Pak; grandchildren, Jenna Seiler and Grace and Griffin Pak; great grandson, Bentley Seiler; brother, Robert Ferree; nephews and great nephew, Bob, Ryan, and Layne Ferree; as well as several aunts, cousins, and many dear friends. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her beloved niece, Lisa Ann Ferree.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 11:00 AM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave, Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev. Richard Reese officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be held privately.
