Nancy I Lawson

Nancy I. Lawson, 77, of Carlisle, PA, passed away on March 14, 2024, in the Claremont Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle. She was born September 5, 1946, in Carlisle to the late Charles and Alice (Weigle) Fahnestock. She was the widow of James Lawson.

Nancy was a member of the Bethel Assembly of God Church, Carlisle. She loved being at home with family, being outside, hiking, biking, and walking. She also enjoyed dancing, riding motorcycles and snowmobiles.

Surviving Nancy is her two children, Mark Shafer of Louisiana, and Todd Shafer of Carlisle; ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren; and two sisters.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hollinger Funeral Home, 501 N. Baltimore Ave, Mt.
