Mildred "Patty" Hockley

Mildred Patricia Hockley, 85, formerly of Mt. Holly Springs and Gardners, PA, passed away Monday, September 28, 2015 in the West Shore Hospital, Mechanicsburg. Patty, as she liked to be called, was born July 23, 1930 in Boiling Springs to the late Howard & Mary Martin Brenneman, she was the widow of Charles H. Hockley who passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012. Patty retired from the Rice Elementary School, where she worked in the cafeteria. She was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and loved to take walks and read.

She is survived by her son, Malcolm (Mack) and wife Gail Hockley of Gardners; 3 grandchildren, Eric Hockley at home, Joy Snyder and companion Michael Mitchell of Shenandoah, VA, and Jay Snyder and wife Patricia of Jackson, TN; 2 great grandchildren, Shayne and Daulton Snyder of Shenandoah; and her sister, Nancy Brownawell of Carlisle.  She was predeceased by her siblings: Lavere, Vincent, Clarence and Leon Brenneman and Cleora Monmiller.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 2, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev. Matthew D. Plant officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.
