Mildred Weaver

Mildred C. Weaver, 75, of Carlisle passed away on Friday, June 21, 2013 in the Church of God Home. She was born on March 4, 1938 to the late George S. and Mary C. Felker Koontz and was married to her loving husband of 59 years, Roy E. Weaver. Mildred was predeceased by her son, Randolph E. Weaver.

Retired from the Cumberland County Courthouse, she was employed as a phone operator and mail attendant. Mildred enjoyed shopping, decorating her home, snowmen, popcorn,and eating out. Her favorite restaurant was Red Lobster. She loved to travel, specifically to the beach or to visit family in TX. Mildred dearly loved her family and her pet cat, Sassy Girl.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Hildie (Anson) Myers of Carlisle, PA and Kathryn (Rodney) Conrad of Copperas Cove, TX. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren: Dustin and Heather Conrad, and A. Troy and Jacob Meyers. In addition, there are 5 surviving great grandchildren: Kacie, Kaylie, Dylan, Gavin and Aiden.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Church of God Home, 801 N. Hanover St., Carlisle, PA 17013 on Saturday, July 6 at 10:00 AM with the Rev. Bradley Moore officiating. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of God Home or a charity of your choice.
