Michael Theres

Michael M. Theres, 78 of Mt. Holly Springs passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 in his home. He was born June 27, 1937 in Chicago, IL to the late Michael and Bertha Neuman Theres.                                          .

Michael served in the US Air Force and retired from the US Army as a SFC after 24 years of service, and served two tours in Vietnam.  He was a computer programmer for CACI and the Mechanicsburg Naval Supply Depot, also worked for G4S Security. Michael was a member of the Carlisle VFW Post 477, American Legion #101, and was a 32nd Degree Mason with Cumberland Star Lodge #197 F&AM.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Brandt Theres of Mt. Holly Springs, 2 sons, Michael J. (Leigh) Theres of SC and Anthony J. DeRemer of Westchester, PA; 2 daughters, Pamela J. (Richard) McDaniels of Chambersburg and Megan E. (David) Cluck of Mt. Holly Springs; and a nephew, Robert Para of Chicago, IL.

Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 10:00 AM in Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Mt. Holly Springs, PA   with Rev. Richard Reese officiating, following services the Cumberland County Honor Guard will conduct the honors. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service.
