Maxine Stambaugh

Maxine (Warner) Stambaugh, 87, of Carlisle, PA, passed away on August 15, 2024, in her home. She was born July 16, 1937, in Circleville, WV, to the late William Boyd Warner Sr. and Evelyn (Teter) Justice. She was the widow of Roger Gates Stambaugh who passed away in October of 2015.

Maxine and her husband Roger were long-time owners of the Bar B-Q Tavern and prior to that, the Cold Springs Inn. She enjoyed shopping, antiquing, reading, painting, traveling, and most importantly spending time with her family and her puppy Levi. 

Surviving is her daughter, Vicki Mullins (Larry) of Carlisle; grandchildren, Kile and Nicole Mullins; great grandchild, Zachary Mullins; siblings, Merle Justice of Harrisonburg, VA, Margaret Henry of Beauford, SC, Mary Alice McCoig of Danridge, TN, Faye Fulk of Broadway, VA, Robert Justice of Bridgewater, VA, and Judith Warner; many nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents and husband, Maxine was preceded in death by her brothers, Richard Warner, William (Bootie) Warner, Tom Warner and her stepfather Guy Justice.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, August 23, 2024, at 2:00 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave, Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev.
