Mary D. Campbell, 95, formerly of Boiling Springs, PA, passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Chapel Pointe, Carlisle. Born August 22, 1923 to the late Rankin B. and Mary Boyer Dunfee, she was the widow of Edward C. Campbell who died July 18, 2015. Mary is survived by several nieces and nephews and was preceded in death by her siblings, Ruth (Dunfee) Hahn, George "Burt" Dunfee, John "Jack" Dunfee and Lee Dunfee.
Mary began her working career at her father's store in Mt. Holly Springs, Henry's Variety Store. After graduation with a BA in Art from William & Mary College, she was employed at the First National Bank in Mt. Holly Springs and later became the co-owner, with her husband, and business manager of The Chimney's Violin Shop. Memberships included: William & Mary Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, Mt. Holly Springs Lions Club, former President and lifetime member of the Musical Arts Club, Board of Directors member and Vendor Room Chair Person of the Violin Society of America and choir director and member of the Mt. Holly Springs UM Church.
Services will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Richard Reese officiating at the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Chapel Pointe Benevolence Fund, 770 S.
