Robert V. Marsh, 73 of Gardners, passed away Tuesday, January 29 at his home. He was the widower of Glenda A. Marsh who passed away March 30, 2005. Bob was born March 7, 1939 in Gardners to the late John and Elva Sheets Marsh.
He retired from AMP INC. and did small electrical jobs. As an avid fisherman and hunter, he was a member of the Mt. Holly Fish & Game Club, attended block shoots and enjoyed camping. Bob loved his blue grass music, and was the “Best Pap in the World.”
Robert is survived by his son, Robert J. (Amy) Marsh of Chambersburg, and two daughters, Robin L. Murphy of Gardners and Rebecca L (Scott) Metzger of Mt. Holly Springs. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and his brother, Ronald Marsh of Gardners. He was predeceased by his sons, Douglas E. and Rodney D. Marsh.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 1 at 11:00 AM in the Mt. Victory United Methodist Church, 1 Victory Church Rd., Gardners, with a viewing at the church one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Dr. Bryan L. Mann and Robert’s son, Bob Marsh will officiate. Interment will be in the Mt. Victory Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 PM on Thursday, January 31 in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave. Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065
