Marjorie Collins

Marjorie M. “Margie” Collins, 74, formally of Carlisle, passed away Friday, July 11, 2014 in the Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle. She was born April 26, 1940 in Carlisle to the late Michael and Ester Brehm Gallo.

An avid and delicious cook and baker, she was also skilled in the art of crocheting, loved the outdoors, especially flower gardening and liked to play cards and bingo.  Margie and Arthur enjoyed shopping together.

Margie is survived by her loving companion of 20 years, Arthur Keck of Carlisle; two daughters, Terena (Tracy) Shannon of Carlisle and Melanie Stouffer of Gettysburg; two sons, James (fiancé, Shirley Romero) Gallo and Jerry Gallo of Grand Rapids, MI.; 8 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Carol Sue Watson, who passed away on October 14, 2009 and 5 siblings.

Arrangements are being handled by the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065.
