Margaret Neff

Margaret E. Neff, 87, formerly of Mechanicsburg, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014 in the Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle. She was the widow of James B. Neff, who passed away March 31, 2008. Margaret was born May 18, 1926 in Silver Springs Twp, Mechanicsburg to the late Earl J. & Sarah E. Fisher Fought. She retired from Orwego Frock Dress Factory and attended the Trindle Springs Lutheran Church.

Margaret is survived by her son, Gary L. and Elizabeth A. Neff of Newport and three daughters, Vicki I. Tomlinson, and Shirley A. Neff, both of Mechanicsburg, and Kim M. Neff of Camp Hill. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren and her sister, Grace Failor of Mechanicsburg. She was predeceased by her son, Patrick R. Neff, who passed away August 16, 2005 and one great grandson.

Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside service at 11:00 AM in the Mechanicsburg Cemetery on Thursday, April 10, 2014 with Rev. Robert Rice officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice Program at the Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, 1000 Claremont Rd., Carlisle, PA 17013 or to the Washington Fire Co. #1, 53 East Main St., Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.
