Lydia Melinda Brinton

Lydia Melinda Brinton, 70, of Mechanicsburg, PA, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2022, in the Penn State Hershey Hospital. She was born August 29, 1951, in York, PA, to the late Betty (Ketterman) Brinton.

Lydia worked at the Work Advancement Center for about 20 years, retiring June 21^st, 2007, and working was very important to her. She enjoyed attending weekly church-based faith services and especially enjoyed singing. She enjoyed going to the Aurora Club in Mechanicsburg and socializing with her friends at the house. She loved animals, especially Ginger the dog, who she had a very special connection with and watching sports. She loved her family very much.

Surviving is her son, Billy Brinton of Newville; and grandson, Kris Brinton who is serving in the Marine Corps.
