Lola Smith

Lola J. Smith, 76, of Dillsburg, PA passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at home. She was born May 28, 1940 in York, PA to the late Bernard and Charlotte Cunningham.

Lola was the director of Children's Museum, Boca Raton, FL, and the Kids Fest organizer attended by 12,000 kids annually, hence Lola was mentioned in nomination as “Woman Volunteer of the Year Award .”  Lola was a member of the Lutheran faith and studied her bible daily.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Fred B. Smith; two daughters and son in laws, Kimberly C. and Robert G. Shaw Jr. of NH and Michelle and Gerald Slagle of Dover; and a son, Fred Smith II of Dillsburg. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, David, Katherine, Tyler, Sophia, and Cohen.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to COPD Foundation, 3300 Ponce De Leon Blvd., Miami, FL 33134.
