Lois L. (Tate) Starner, 90, of Gardners, PA, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024, in the Silver Spring Personal Care Home, Mechanicsburg. She was born March 1, 1934, in Adams County, to the late Charles and Catherine (Bittinger) Tate. Lois was the widow of Arthur W. Starner, who passed away in January of 2017.
Lois was a Mary Kay consultant for many years, running a very successful business.
Surviving Lois are her daughters, Lisa (Scott) Ramsey of Mt. Holly Springs and Sharon (Ricky) Armolt of Carlisle; grandchildren, Colleen Hardman, Eric Snyder, Ashley Cordero, Jillian Koser, Janel Young, and Leslie Ramsey; eleven great grandchildren; and siblings, Janet and Dean Tate. In addition to her parents and husband, Lois was preceded in death by her daughter, Joy Nelson.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at 2:00 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave, Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Pastor Eric Mosemann officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 PM and burial will take place in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Gardners. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tree of Life Church, 50 K St., Carlisle, PA 17013.
