Lois Markle

In Loving Memory, Lois Grace (Adair) Markle was called to her heavenly home on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 in the Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, where she resided since 2014. Lois was born in Harrisburg, PA on March 17, 1944.

Lois was a graduate of Carlisle High School, Class of 1963 and went on to work for the Pennsylvania Labor and Industry Department, Harrisburg, PA after graduation. On December 24, 1965, Lois married her husband, Lawrence E. Markle and made Carlisle their home. After 30 years of service, She retired from her position as a clerk typist at the PA Labor and Industry Department. She went on to devote her time as a wife and homemaker. Along with her husband, Lois shared a deep love for their cats and dogs. She enjoyed watching football, NASCAR Racing and Dancing With The Stars.

In addition to her husband, Lois is survived by her two cats, Sox and Sylvester.

A private memorial service will be held at Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle in the near future. In Lieu of Flowers, donations may be made directly to Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
