Lois A. Foster Roth, 75, of Biglerville, PA, went to be with her Lord and Savior July 3, 2024, in the Wellspan York Hospital, York, PA. She was born June 26, 1949, in Gardners, PA, to the late Harold E. and Jean (Moose) Rhinehart. Lois attended Boiling Springs High School and retired from McCoy Electronics Co., Mt. Holly Springs, PA. She was a lifetime member of the Idaville United Brethren Church.
Lois was an avid shopper and loved Christmas time, especially the Hallmark movies. She had an expansive collection of nutcrackers and oil lamps. Lois enjoyed watching dirt track racing and cheering on her grandsons, Jeff Jr. and Jake and son-in-law, Jay. She loved taking drives and going to car shows in one of her and husband, George’s antique cars. Lois was an avid Elvis fan and enjoyed his music movies.
Surviving are her loving and devoted husband, George Roth of Biglerville; children, Lori Ann Doudrick of Aspers, Jonathan J. Foster (JeNelle) of Mechanicsburg, Jeffrey E. Foster (Dawn) of Aspers, Christopher R. Foster of Yuma, AZ, and Jeannean M. Galloway (Jay) of Gardners; grandchildren, Jeffrey Jr., Deirdre, Dylan, Jordan, Jacob, Jack, Julia, Brayden, Devin and Brittany; and great-grandchildren, Leah, Matty, Carter, Charlotte, Rylan and Rose Ann. Also surviving are her siblings, Thomas, Henry and Timothy Rhinehart, Susan Thompson, and Catherine Neiderer and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her late husband, Clyde J. Foster, Jr., Lois was preceded in death by her siblings, Jane McCoy, Donna Watson, Frederick and Joseph Rhinehart, and son-in-law, C. James Doudrick, Jr.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, Pa 17065, with Pastor Marc Webb officiating. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 AM, and burial will take place in Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery. Following the services a luncheon will be held at her church, Idaville United Brethren Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Idaville United Brethren Church, 3590 Carlisle Rd, Gardners, PA 17324.
