Lewis Jacob Alexander

Lewis Jacob “Jake” Alexander, 76, of Carlisle, PA, passed away on February 6, 2024, in the Gardens at Gettysburg. He was born October 21, 1947, in Mechanicsburg to the late John T. and Mary E. (Fleece) Alexander.

Jake was a Vietnam Veteran in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the American Legion Post 223 in Shippensburg and a lifetime member of the VFW Club of Greencastle Post 6319.  

Surviving Jake is his wife, Alberta (Hughart) Alexander of Carlisle; children, John M. Alexander, Wendy A. Forsythe, Christy L. Alexander, and Sherri L. Haines; fourteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild; three siblings, Sadie Frew, Ginny Long, and John T. Alexander; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
