Lennie Kimmel

Lennie P. Kimmel, 42, of York Springs, PA passed away at his home on Sunday, December 21, 2014. He was born March 8, 1972 in Camp Hill, PA to Dawn Kimmel of Mt. Holly Springs and the late Glenn R. Kimmel who passed away March 18, 2014. Also surviving is his brother, Lee Kimmel of Mt. Holly Springs.

A 1990 graduate of Carlisle High School, Lennie was employed as an automotive technician at Paul’s Garage in York Springs. Memberships included: York Springs Fire Company, South Mt. American Legion #674 and the Mt. Holly VFW #7343. Lennie enjoyed cars and motorcycles; he loved his dog, Bella. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed the outdoors.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January  2, 2015 at 7:00 PM with the Rev. Brian   Warner officiating at the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065. There will be a visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the York Springs Fire Company, PO Box 315, York Springs, PA 17372 or the Canine Rescue of Central PA, PO Box 129, Dillsburg, PA 17019.
