Galen F. Lehman, 77, of Boiling Springs, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2014 in the Holy Spirit Hospital. He was the widow of Pearl A. Sarvis Lehman who passed April 12, 2011. Galen was born September 18, 1936 in West Pennsboro Twp., Cumberland County, to the late Frank G. and Etta Weber Lehman. He was a mechanic early in life and retired from Woods Buick, Mechanicsburg. He also drove school bus for many years.
He is survived by two daughters, Trudy J. (Jonathan) Martin of Chambersburg and Freda G. (Mark) Yoder of Dayton, VA; two sons, Keith E. (Eunice) Lehman of Mercersburg and Clair A. (Tammy) Lehman of Pittsgrove, NJ; 15 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and 3 step sisters, Phoebe Giagnacova of Murrells Inlet, SC, and Isabelle Lehman and Berta Chronister, both of Carlisle. He was predeceased by two grandsons, Rodney and Randell Lehman; brother, Cletus Lehman and two step sisters, Frances Foltz and Ann Heberline.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 25, 2014 at 10:00 AM in the Churchtown Mennonite Church, with the Churchtown Mennonite Ministry officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. There will be a viewing Thursday, April 24, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM in his church. Arrangements are being handled by the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt.
