Kevin James DeSantis

Kevin James DeSantis, age 68, was born on January 10th, 1956.

 In November of 1958 he joined Joan and Harold "Pete" Posey and they became a happy party of three. He was joined later by younger sisters Christi and Patti to make the family complete. Kevin loved all the alternative schools and programs that he had the opportunity to be involved with over the years. He enjoyed being a part of church and community activities and adored spending time with his family.

Kevin resided and was cared for by his second family at Keystone Human Services beginning in 1996. He spent his last six months at Laurel Lakes Rehab and Wellness Center. He died on December 25th, 2024 at the Chambersburg Hospital.

Kevin enriched our lives in many ways. He taught us all very early lessons in compassion, tolerance, patience and unconditional love. His passions included listening to music, watching DVDs,and collecting watches. He enjoyed all foods but his favorites were cheeseburgers, french fries, spaghetti and cokes. He liked puzzles, coloring books and his hero was Batman. He laughed hard and it was infectious- most who met him were charmed by him. He had a way of touching your heart and making a lasting impression. Thanks to all who have loved and cared for Kevin throughout his life. What a blessing he was to his family and friends. 

 A private family memorial service will be held on his birthday, January 10th. Arrangements are being handled by Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Mt. Holly Springs.
