Kenneth Piper

Kenneth Leroy Piper, 68, of Newville, PA passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 4, 2015. He was born August 20, 1946 in Newville to Betty Mellinger Morgan of Newville and the late Harold Piper.

He retired from the Roadway Trucking Company with 35 years of service. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles # 1299 and the White Circle of Carlisle. Kenneth was an avid auto and motorcycle enthusiast and loved woodworking, hunting, playing cards, and spending time with his family.

Ken is survived by three sons, Heath (Jill) Piper, Jason Piper, and Dustin (Dawn) Piper, all of Carlisle; two grandchildren, Mason and Livia; his brother, Roger (Lucy) Piper, of Illinois; and three nieces, Gina, Michele and Elizabeth. He was predeceased by his step father, John Morgan.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday, February 8, 2015 at 6:00 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Pastor Phil Steele officiating. There will be a visitation from 5:00 PM until the service. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
