Kenneth Lee Beeler, 84, of Carlisle, PA, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024, at his residence. He was born February 15, 1940, in Cumberland County to the late Raymond and Gayle (Shughart) Beeler.
Kenneth retired from the Pennsylvania State Government, where he started in the vault and worked various positions throughout his career. His most recent position with the state was in the unemployment compensation office and belonged to the State workers Union, AFSCME. Kenneth was a LONG-TIME member and served the Citizens Fire Company, No.1, Mt. Holly Springs, PA and served as Dickinson Township Supervisor at one point. In his younger years, Kenneth left high school to work on the family farm and drive milk truck for his grandfather. Kenneth loved the outdoors, including hunting, fishing, bird watching and collecting branches to file into walking sticks for his friends. He was and avid gun collector and loved everything about firearms.
Surviving is his daughter, Marjory Nace (companion, Mark) of Carlisle; siblings, Ronald Beeler of Hanover and Betty Hoff of biglerville; and numerous nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Kathy (Hoff) Naylor and husband, Greg. Kenneth was preceded in death by his long time companion of 30 plus years, Lynne Vergot, and siblings, Robert Beeler, and Shirley Hornig.
