Kenn Wilcox

October 11, 1953 — July 17, 2017

Kenn G. Wilcox passed away in his sleep on Monday, July 17, 2017. Kenn was born in Carlisle, PA and was the son of the late Russell and Irene Wilcox of Boiling Springs. He was preceded in death by his two older brothers, Kirk and Karl and survived by his younger brother, Kipp. Kenn was the father of three children, Delilah, Dylan, and Waylon Wilcox and was a grandfather to Alexander Perry and Storm Kennedy.

Kenn greatly appreciated nature, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was an avid reader and had a vast knowledge of fun and unique facts that he enjoyed sharing. Kenn was a humble and resilient man who found peace and a spiritual connection to this world. He would sometimes refer to her as nature.

We are very proud of our father and his monumental efforts to overcome his lifetime struggle with addiction. Kenn was an active member of his local Alcoholics Anonymous Chapters, founded a beginners group in Carlisle, and sponsored others. He was extremely grateful for the support and many friendships he found over the years.  Kenn spent his time supporting and assisting others and recently received his Certification as a Recovery Specialist. Kenn saw the beauty in life and wished a bright future for those he cared for.

A memorial service will be held Friday, July 28, 2017 at 7:00 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mount Holly Springs, PA 17065.
