Kay Eshenour

Kay Barbara Eshenour, 75, of Mechanicsburg, PA passed away August 22, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 26, 1945 in Dauphin to the late Charles Fertig and Ruth Elizabeth (Sellers) McNeely.

Kay retired from TSR, where she was a business secretary and worked for IBM and the Sentinel. She was a member of West Shore Free Church and was a volunteer at New Hope Ministries. A selfless person, Kay devoted much of her time giving to others. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, nature, especially birds, and traveling.

Surviving are her loving children, Karen Eshenour of Mechanicsburg and Jenny Piper of Harrisburg; grandsons, Joshua Eshenour of Mechanicsburg and Zack Piper of Harrisburg; and siblings, Linda Gipe of Dauphin, Kim McNeely of Carlisle and Suzanne Landis of Duncannon. Kay was preceded in death by her brother, Keith McNeely.

Services will be held Friday, August 28, 2020 at 3:00 PM in the West Shore Free Church, 1345 Williams Grove Rd., Mechanicsburg, PA 17055 with Pastor Ken Thompson officiating. A viewing will be held at 1:00 PM until the time of service and burial will be held privately in the Rolling Green Cemetery, Mechanicsburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her church or New Hope Ministries, 5228 E. Trindle Rd., Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.
