Karl F. Richwine, 78, of Carlisle passed away Tuesday November 24, 2015 in the West Shore Hospital. He was born January 9, 1937 in Harrisburg to the late Brinton H. and Irene (Fanus) Richwine. He was the owner and operator of Richwine’s Garage. Karl loved to watch NASCAR, his favorite driver Jeff Gordon, whom he died on the date of Jeff’s car number (24). Memberships include; Lowther Manor Lodge #781 F&AM Camp Hill, Local #542 Engineers, NRA, Fraternal Order of Police, Mechanicsburg Club, BPOE (Elks) #578, Faternal Order of Eagles Arie #1299, White Circle Club, American Legion #26, VFW #477, Loyal Order of Moose #761, and the Carlisle Fish and Game. Karl loved to hunt and fish, including deep sea fishing and attending his son's late model races.

He is survived by his wife Elaine E. (Sawyer) Richwine, married 54 yrs.; daughter Karla (Richwine) Brutko, son Scott Richwine (Gioia Snyder) and grandchildren Darien and Kendyl Brutko all of Carlisle, and his best friend Snowbear, his puppy.

No Memorial Services will be held at Karl's request. Arrangements are being handled by the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt.
