Karen Sue Klinger

Karen Sue Klinger, 73, of Mt. Holly Springs, PA, passed away on January 25, 2025, in the UPMC Carlisle Hospital. She was born November 6, 1951, in Carlisle to the late Sterling Emerson and Mary Jean (Sheaffer) Taylor and was the widow of Ronald Lee Klinger.

Karen was a Carlisle High School graduate class of 1969 and retired from Gannett Fleming as a bookkeeper. She spent most of her time doing home projects as she always had several going at one time and especially woodworking projects. Karen loved being a grandmother, especially when it came to celebrating birthdays and holidays and any other chance to spoil her loved ones with gifts.

Surviving are her children, Ellen Klinger of Columbus, OH, Adrian “Buzz” Klinger of Shiremanstown, Matt Klinger of Winter Garden, FL, and David Klinger of West Linn, OR; five grandchildren, Nora, Genevieve, Wyatt, Amelia, and Sylvie. In addition to her parents and husband, Karen was preceded in death by her sister, Judy Ann Maher.
