Karen Douglas

Karen J. Douglas, 61, of Mechanicsburg, PA passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018 in the Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital.  She was born December 12, 1956 in Del Rio, TX to the late Edmund E. and Doris L. (Brouse) Basehore.

Karen was a graduate of Cumberland Valley High School, class of 1974. She was a very loving and beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

She is survived by her husband Robert E. Douglas, her children, Robert S. Douglas and wife, Jessica and Justin E. Douglas, both of Mechanicsburg; 7 grandchildren; and siblings, David Basehore and wife, Crystal of Camp Hill, Anthony Basehore and wife, Cheri of Carlisle and Eddie Basehore and wife, Ethel of Florida.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in Karens name. Arrangements are being handled by the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065.
