Juanita McKnight

Juanita Theresa (Bell) McKnight, 74, of Harrisburg, PA passed away on Thursday February 22 , 2018 at the UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on June 24, 1943 to the late Henry and Lucille Bell.

Juanita worked as a Nurses Aid in Health Care. Often called the, "Mayor of Logan Street," she enjoyed sitting on the front porch of her residence. Juanita loved spending time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren, playing cards at the casino, western movies, cooking and planting flowers.

She is survived by her daughter, Loretta Louise (Bell) Folks and husband, Brian of Harrisburg; three grandchildren, Theresa, Myron and Tiffany Bell; 9 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Edna Williams, Judith Brice, Linda Jackson and Virgil Bell all of Harrisburg, Kathleen Spence and Junior Bell both of Pittsburgh and Sylvester Bell of Camp Hill. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Henrietta Bittings, Sonny and Lucille Bell, Naomie and Sarah Williams and Mamie Mickle.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065.
