Joyce Ann Brown Watson, 52, of Mt. Holly Springs, PA passed away Friday, April 14, 2017 at her sister's home in Waynesboro, PA. She was born April 11, 1965 in Baltimore, MD to the late Charles David and Faith Elaine Kerfoot Brown. She was raised from infancy by Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Eyler of Waynesboro.
Joyce graduated from Waynesboro Senior High School class of 1983,where she was a cheerleader. She also was a member of the Waynesboro Majorettes. She attended the Art Institute of Philadelphia for Fashion Merchandising. Joyce worked as a bartender at Chocolate Park in latter 1980 and also worked for Fairfield Graphics, M&T Bank in Camp Hill and Bon Ton at Chambersburg Mall. She earned her CNA and worked at Chapel Pointe of Carlisle. She was a member of the Pen Mar United Brethren Church. Joyce loved children, gardening, flower arranging, creating, concerts, traveling, going to the beach, thrift shopping and making crafts. She was a member of the GFWC and the Women's club of Dillsburg.
Joyce is survived by two sons, John A. Watson of Dover and Jason M. Watson of East Berlin; Syblings; Geraldine Daywalt of Waynesboro, Mark Brown of West Virginia, Scott Kerfoot of Baltimore MD, Michael Sullivan of California, Joy Brown and Roy Brown both of Washington State; and her best friend, Michelle Cox.
A celebration of Life Picnic will be held in her honor at the Pen Mar Park in Pen Mar, Maryland on May 6, 2017 from 12:00 Noon until dusk. Please bring any photos you would like to share. In her memory the family requests that a tree , bush, or flower be planted to remember Joyce. Arrangements are being handled by Hollinger Funeral Home and Crematory, Mt. Holly Springs, PA.
