Joyce Ickes

Joyce D. Ickes, 72, of Newville, PA, passed away Monday, April 16, 2018 at the UPMC Pinnacle Carlisle. She was born on November 14, 1945 to the late George and Mabel (Watson) Seibert.

Joyce was a farmer's wife and also worked for Carlisle Shoe and Electrolux as a bookkeeper. She was a member of the Dickinson Presbyterian Church and Carlisle Area Mother of Multiples.

She is survived by her loving husband, J.  Michael Ickes of Newville; three sons, Douglas Mersch and wifeTracy of Carlisle, John Ickes and wife Tanya, and Joel Ickes, all of Newville; grandchildren, Blaine and Morgan Ickes and Makenna and Dalton Mersch; great-grandchild, Myles Ickes; and siblings, Wayne Seibert of Shippensburg, Sharon Reed and Anthony Seibert, both of Carlisle.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.Arrangements are being handled by the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065.
