Joyce Hoch

Joyce M. Hoch, 72, of Huntington Twp., Adams Co., passed away Sunday June 29, 2014 in Carlisle, PA.  She was born July 23, 1941 in Newville, PA to the late Norman and Mary Lehman Smith.

She retired from Phaltzcraft, Bendersville and was a member of the Upper Bermudian Lutheran Church.  Joyce loved to cook, especially for her family.

She is survived by her four sons; Frank E. (Vicky) Shoenberger of Carlisle, Ronald E. (Theresa) Shoenberger of Newville, William B. (Patricia) Shoenberger and Brian J. (Sandy) Shoenberger, both of Gardners; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, a brother, Ronald Smith of Shippensburg and 4 sisters; Pat Palmer, Sandy Weaver, and Esther Adams all of Carlisle and Doris Hostetter of Newville. Joyce was predeceased by a bother Richard Smith and a sister Hazel Walters.

Memorial Services will be held Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 5:00 PM in her church, Upper Bermudian Lutheran Church, 185 Round Oak Church Road, Gardners, PA, with Rev. David Clark officiating. There will be a fellowship and meal following the services.  Arrangements are being handled by the Hollinger Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065.
