Josephine Brigetta Sentiwany

Josephine Brigetta (Holden) Sentiwany, 88, of Mechanicsburg, PA, passed away September 30, 2024, at the Bridges at Bent Creek in Mechanicsburg. She was born February 26, 1936, in Mt. Carmel, PA, to the late William and Josephine (Racozzi) Holden. She was the widow of Eugene Robert Sentiwany who passed away on November 16 of 2012.

Josephine attended St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Hershey. She enjoyed the occasional trip to local casinos, where she played slots, and traveling to the Outer Banks, NC. Josephine loved cleaning her home, cooking, decorating for every holiday, and listening to Tom Jones, Frank Sinatra and Patsy Cline. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her two daughters, Natasha Sentiwany of Harrisburg and Bridget Aunkst of Mt. Holly Springs; grandchildren, Dr. Alison Garrett (Patrick), Katlin Oswald (Michael), and Steven Romanoski (Elizabeth); and a great grandson, Bennett. Josephine was preceded in death by her sons, Roger and Steven Sentiwany, four sisters, and two brothers.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place in the Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Mt. Carmel.
