Jon Williams

Jon Dean Williams, 75, of Carlisle, PA, passed away January 6, 2020, in the UPMC Carlisle. He was born May 23, 1944, in Albion, MI to the late Conrad E. and Helen (Miller) Williams.

Jon retired from Wagner Fabrication and Millwork, formerly Landis Fabrication and Millwork, Mt. Holly Springs, where he worked as a welder. He attended Second Presbyterian Church of Carlisle. Jon served in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.

Surviving is his wife of 47 years, Winifred Carol (Thrush) Williams; sister-in-law, Gloria Williams of Albion, MI; and cousin, Fred Savage and wife Janice of Hanover, MI. He was predeceased by his brother, Charles E. Williams.

A memorial service will be held Friday, January 10, 2020 at 11:00 AM in The Second Presbyterian Church, 528 Garland Dr., Carlisle, PA 17013 with Rev. Dr. Jeff Gibelius and Rev. Mary Washburn officiating. Burial will be held privately at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
