John Rossi

John C. Rossi, 73, of Carlisle, PA, passed away at his home on Friday, December 1, 2017. He was born May 21, 1944 in Providence, RI to the late John A. and Pierina Santilli Rossi and is survived by his wife of 42 years, Joanne M. Hair Rossi.

In 1962, John graduated from Warwick Veterans Memorial High School.  He retired from the Naval Supply Depot, Mechanicsburg, where he worked as a computer specialist. Described as a quiet, kind and generous individual, John will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Tina Wilson (Dan) of Oceanside, CA, Annette Rossi of Washington, DC, and Kristin Pugh of Newville, PA; three grandchildren, Nicole Waybright (Lucas), Earl Wellenstein and Imara Glymph; and great grandson, Henry Waybright. Also surviving are two sisters, Alice Creamer (Jay) of Aiken, SC and Mary Evans (Jim) of Rockledge, FL and special aunt, Gioia Rossi of Coventry, RI.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in John's memory to the Mennonite Disaster Service, 583 Airport Rd., Lititz, PA 17543. Special thanks to the SpiriTrust Lutheran Home Care and Hospice; they were a great comfort.
