John Kazor, Jr.

John Kazor, Jr., 82, of Mt. Holly Springs, PA, passed away on March 22, 2024, in the Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home in Carlisle. He was born May 5, 1941, in Latrobe, PA, to the late John and Violet (Steigleman) Kazor, Sr. John was the widower of Bonni (Triesh) Kazor who passed away in 2013.

John was a graduate of Carlisle High School, class of 1959. He worked as a car salesman starting his career with Buckley Motor Sales ending with Willow View Auto Sales. He was a United States Army National Guard Veteran. John was a member of the American Legion Post 674 in Mt. Holly Springs and a past member of the Elks BPOE Post 578 in Carlisle. John was an avid golfer and loved to play cards. He loved the Boston Red Sox and was always proud of his grandson for playing for the Georgetown Hoyas Basketball team.

Surviving John are his children, Patten (Denise) Kazor of Vienna, VA, Chandler (Michelle) of Lansdale, PA, and Shawndel (Jeff) Staruh of Mt. Holly Springs; grandchildren, Rebecca, Jonathan, Kennedy, Brooklyn, and Sydney; and great grandchild, Hazel. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Kazor; sister, Florence Newhouse; and nephew, Kevin Newhouse.

Services will be announced at a later date. The burial will be held at Indiantown Gap. In lieu of flowers.
