John Howard Flicker, 61, of Boiling Springs, PA, passed away at home on January 23, 2025. He was born February 4, 1963, in Bradford, PA, to the late Edward and Geraldine (Fotch) Flicker, Sr.
For 32 years, John made a living doing what he most loved, fixing things, as the owner-operator of Flicker’s Mechanical. Later in life, he developed a hobby of restoring vintage enduros, a passion he would share with everyone who entered his home. John was also especially fond of riding his motorcycles, cooking for his loved ones, weekend fishing trips with his brothers in Delaware, and Saturday nights at the farm with his best friends. His daughters were also an incredibly important part of his life, and he loved making memories with them. John very much enjoyed being a part of his daughter Molly’s cross-country adventures (despite his disdain for heavy traffic). He also adored dancing and singing to Abba and Nicki Minaj with his daughter Mary. John made life fun.
Surviving are his children, Molly Jean Flicker of Boiling Springs, Mary Michelle Flicker of New Cumberland, and Jonathan Rosenswie of Eldred, PA; siblings, Shelly Flicker of Olean, NY, Steven Flicker of Felton, DE, Chris Flicker of Olean, NY, and Edward Flicker, Jr., of Cuba, NY. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Flicker.
