John Haydn Brohard

John “Brodie” Haydn Brohard, 71, of Gardners, PA, passed away on September 12, 2024, in his home. He was born April 25, 1953, in Palmer, Alaska, to the late Haydn and Pauline (Eckerman) Brohard. 

John attended Idaville United Brethren in Christ Church when he was able. He enjoyed playing basketball and billiards and loved hiking, listening to classic rock music, reading, and spending time with his family. John loved to joke around and had a great sense of humor. He had a very kind heart and people gravitated towards him. 

Surviving is his loving wife, Sandra “Sandy” (Sell) Brohard of Gardners; children Nikki (Brohard) Peck and Mike Peck of Las Vegas, Tammy Sue Redding of Gettysburg, and Michele Perry of Gettysburg; grandchildren, Nikki (Sharp) Spicer, and Tristen and Willow Bucher; great grandchildren, Chase Sharp, and Liam and Ellie Spicer; siblings, Terriann Wilker of Billings, MT, Diane Fallness of Missoula, MN, and Pam Tullis of Orlando, FL. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brother, Evan Brohard. 

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 12:00 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave, Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev. Richard Reese officiating. Visit HollingerFuneralHome.com to offer condolences to the family.
