John Boore

John A. Boore, 86, of Mt. Holly Springs, PA, passed away Monday, July 22, 2019 at his residence. John was born in Harrisburg on February 22, 1933 to the late JohnMahlon and Naomi (Ruhling)Boore and was the widower of Joyce Boore, who passed away in 2011. He retired from Land O'Lakes, Carlisle and was a member of the Carlisle Jehovah’s Witnesses. John served in the United States Navy during the Korean War.

Survivingis his daughter, Cheryl L. (Larry) Ressler of Dauphin, PA; two sons, David (Jody) Boore of Gardners and Stephen (Vanessa) Boore of Carlisle. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 26, 2019 at 7:00PM in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1 Mooredale Dr., Carlisle, PA 17015. Arrangements are being handled by the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065.
