Joel David Peffer

Joel David Peffer, 42, of Carlisle, PA, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, in the Hershey Medical Center. He was born July 25, 1979, in Harrisburg, to Elaine (Zuck)Chaney (John) of Saltillo, TN, and the late Scott J. Peffer.

Joel worked for Dillsburg Septic and Excavation, where he had numerous responsibilities. He loved anything with motors, especially motorcycles and dirtbikes. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hiking and hunting. In his spare time, Joel loved spending time with friends and family and being social. His story telling was very vibrant and animated and will be missed.

In addition to his mother and stepfather, Joel is survived by his soulmate, Rusty Brenizer of Carlisle; son, Jacob Peffer of Carlisle; siblings, Julia Butler (Jamie) of Vinton, VA, Jason Peffer (companion, Kelly) of Carlisle and James Peffer (Caitlin) of Newville. Also surviving are his ten nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, April 29 at 4:00 PM in the The Meeting House, 1155 Walnut Bottom Rd., Carlisle, PA 17015.
