Joann Mary Goodhart

Joann Mary Goodhart, 69, of Shippensburg, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 23, 2023, with her family by her side. She was born February 16, 1954, in Hanover, PA, to the late Charles and Helen (Todt) Mummert.

Joann worked for Sylvania Shoe, Allen Distribution, and KFC in Carlisle. She was a member of the Mt. Holly Springs Church of God, the Fraternal Order of Eagles Post 1299, and Carlisle American Legion Post 101. Joann loved going to the beach and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving is her husband, Robert Lee Goodhart of Carlisle; children, Candy (Rich) Baker of Shippensburg and Nicole Goodhart of Carlisle; grandchildren, Jessica (Riley) Baker, Jacklynn (Christopher) Baker, and Dustin Smith; great grandchild, Shelby Coldsmith; and two sisters, Helen Failor and Chris Bretzman. In addition to her parents, Joann was preceded in death by her sister, Tammy Myers.

Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at 1:00 PM in the Mt. Holly Springs Church of God, 648 McLand Drive, Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev.
