JoAnn Kaye Gilkey

JoAnn K. Gilkey, 59, of Mt. Holly Springs, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at the Penn State Health Hershey Medical Center. Born on March 16, 1964, in Harrisburg, PA. She was the daughter of John and Joan (Snyder) Bowerman of Harrisburg.

JoAnn graduated from Susquehanna Township High School, class of 1982. She worked at Knisley’s Pet and Farm Center for over 20 years. She was a LOVER of ALL animals, especially her Rottweilers and horses.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, John D. Gilkey; sister, Judy (Bowerman) Drees (husband, George); nephew, Shawn Drees; niece, Ashlynn (Drees) Iglesias (husband, David) and son, Eric; brother, Jan Bowerman (wife, Karen); nephews, Kyle and Corey Bowerman, and Harry Devine; brother-in-law, David P. Gilkey (wife, Christine); and nephew and niece, Zachary and Madelyn Gilkey.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 17^, 2023, at 2:00 PM, in the Mt Holly Springs Church of God, 602 McLand Dr, Mt Holly Springs, PA. A visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until the start of the service. Visitors will be accepted at the Hollinger Funeral Home, 501 N. Baltimore Ave, Mt. Holly Springs PA from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday June 16, 2023.
