Jenny Lee (Tichy) Shue

Jenny Lee (Tichy) Shue, 91, of Beaufort, South Carolina, formerly of Mt. Holly Springs, passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2023. She was born September 29, 1932, in Carlisle to the late Theodore and Annie lee (Sanders) Tichy. She was the widow of Peter John Shue.

Jenny was a graduate of Carlisle High School class of 1950. She was a graduate of Shippensburg State Teachers College. Jenny taught for a while in Carlisle School District and was a substitute teacher. She was a member of former Mt. Holly Springs United Methodist Church and the Mt. Holly Springs Civic Club.

Surviving is her children, Holly Shue of Mt. Holly Springs, Nina (Shue) Nickel (Jerry) of Carlisle, Theodore “TJ” Shue of Carlisle, and Amy (Shue) Harry (Todd) of Beaufort, SC; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; sister, Theodora “Teddi” Tichy Wright of Downingtown, PA. In addition to her parents and husband, Jenny was preceded in death by her sister, Laura “Sue” (Tichy) Gammons.

Memorial Services will be held Thursday, October 19, at 11:00 AM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave, Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev. Richard L. Reese officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of service.
