Jean Weaver

Jean Ann Weaver, 67, of Carlisle, PA passed away on December 20, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family. Born March 21, 1947 in Harrisburg, PA to the late Millard and Katherine Nye Sutton, she is survived by her loving husband, Clyde L. Weaver.

Active in many organizations, Jean’s memberships included: Middlesex United Methodist Church, past president of the Our Home Auxiliary of the Mechanicsburg United Methodist Children’s Home, past secretary of the Blue Moon Cruiser, Dickinson College Relay for Life Team, Falcon Club (National and Keystone Chapters) and the Hershey AACA. She worked at Dickinson College for 32 years as an IT technician.

Also surviving is her son, Justin E. Weaver (Stacy) of New Cumberland; her daughter, Tammy L. Davis (Clark) and two granddaughters, Brett and Madison of Waxhaw, NC, as well as a sister, Ruth Modesty. She was predeceased by two brothers, Millard Sutton Jr. and Richard Sutton; and a sister, Millicent Rinehart.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 9, 2015 at 6:00 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service.
