James Sera

James F. Sera, 68, formally of Carlisle, PA, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2019 at Manor Care, Carlisle. He was born June 1, 1950 in Brooklyn, NY to the late James F. Sera Sr. and Julia Redding Sera and was the widower of Jan Sera.

James served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and worked on building boiler systems for ships.During his life, he was employed by Mechanicsburg Naval Supply Depot, IBM and TJ Max. James enjoyed hunting deer, riding his bike around town doing errands and helping others. He was a life member the AMVETS Post 274 of Carlisle and a life member of the Boiling Springs VFW #8851.

Surviving is his friend Kelly Shields of Mechanicsburg.
