James H. Gouker

James H. Gouker, 82, of Hanover, PA, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at the UPMC Hospital, Hanover. He was born July 1, 1940, in East Berlin, PA, to the late Oscar W. and Carrie M. (Sloop) Gouker.

James graduated from Eichelberger High School. He worked for AMF in Glen Rock, PA, as a machine operator for 21 years. He was a United States Marine Corp Veteran and a member of St. Jacobs Stone United Church of Christ, Glenville. He was a former member of the Gettysburg American Legion, Post 202.

Surviving is his sister, Betty Trump, of Hanover; nieces, Judy Eckard, Donna (Gerald) Shue, Wanda (Alan) Sterner, June Livingston (Thomas Weller), Tammy Smith, and Norma (Robert) Shacklock and nephew, Jeffrey (Michele) Trump. James was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Patricia Luckenbaugh, Catherine King, and brother, John Yingling.
