James Carey

James B. Carey, 60, of Carlisle, PA, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 in the UPMC Carlisle. He was born February 2, 1960 in Carlisle to the late Dale and Lulu (Glass) Carey Sr.

James was self-employed as a painter, worked as a bartender and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Carlisle Aerie 1299. He enjoyed watching all types of sports, NASCAR, especially his favorite driver, Jeff Gordon and the NFL San Francisco 49ers. James liked outdoor activities including white water rafting, hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his siblings, Kim Swinn and Jeff Carey, both of Carlisle; Dale Carey Jr. of Florida; and Dawn Sherman of Mechanicsburg; and several nieces and nephews.
