Hilda Cline

Hilda Janie Cline, 88, of Shippensburg, PA passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center. Hilda was born August 25, 1929 to the late Franklin H. and Mollie May Wiest. She was the widow of Melvin L. Cline who passed away May 2017.

Hilda  was a member of the Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Mechanicsburg. She had a love of music and sang with the 101 Ranch Boys. Hilda loved to be outside in her garden. Her family was everything to her.

Surviving are her three children, Eugene L. Avery and wife Jill of  King William, VA,  Michael D. Avery of Alabama and Brian K. Avery of  Beaufort, SC; five grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother, Woodrow Wiest and sisters, Betty Sundy, Dollie Bennette, Constance Heisey  and Verna Dodson.  Hilda was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lorraine Avery.

Graveside Services will be held Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
